Purchase & Refunds 

If you’re not happy with a course, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchasing. To request a refund, contact our support team at support@grinfer.com

For separately-sold courses: You can claim a refund for a course purchase within 24 hours after buying your course without explanations unless you are willing to state them. For this purpose, please contact our support at support@grinfer.com

 

Also, you have 14 calendar days to claim a refund in case, if:

  • The course content does not match the course description
  • The course content is of a poor quality
  • The course was not fully uploaded
  • Please specify other reasons for a purchase refund.

Please contact us at support@grinfer.com with the subject «refund». In the email please state your reason why you’d want to get the refund. If the reason you stated does not match any of the issues listed above, Grinfer makes a final decision whether to grant you a refund. 

Buying a membership subscription: Grinfer does not have refund obligations for any membership subscriptions purchased by users. All subscriptions are non-refundable regardless of any reasons (web purchase).

 

If you’ve purchased a separate course (not included in subscription) through our website http://grinfer.com within the last 14 days, you may be eligible for a refund. For refunds, certain conditions apply. Please check with our Terms of Use policy first before sending your request for a refund.

 

For in-app purchases: Grinfer will not be able to process any refunds for purchases made via App Store or Google Play store. Please contact the support service applicable to these stores for a refund.

 

Please note: any purchases completed through The App Store or Google Play are subject to their Terms of Service respectively.

Use your credit or debit card to pay for all separately-sold courses, membership subscriptions, or online consultations on the platform. Grinfer accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc., or you can make payments via PayPal account (whatever works for you). 

 

Go with the “Buy Now” option, if you want to buy any separately-sold courses. Or click on the “Get started for free” button to subscribe to any of the Grinfer’s membership plans for getting full access to all learning content available on the platform. Don’t forget to provide all necessary payment details for completing your purchase successfully. 

 

You can also do all your shopping fast and easily through the account settings. Just type in your payment info in the account settings for quick purchases and you’re all good to go!

If you decide to cancel your purchase and claim a refund, your money will be transferred back to the exact account you used for making a payment (either to the same credit/debit card or your PayPal account).

 

To change or update your payment method, click a profile image at the top right of the page and choose Settings. Go to Payment Information, set up your payment card info and save the changes.

Just purchased a course? Congrats! Jump straight to it by clicking Go to Course in the payment confirmation pop-up. 

To find all the courses you have purchased, go to My Courses. Click a profile picture at the top right of the page and choose My Courses.

Course taking

Each Grinfer course contains videos, pictures, texts or attachables uploaded by the course author. When you browse the platform and choose the course you are interested in, just go to the course page to get a detailed description. 

On the course page, you can see the duration of the course, what type of content it contains, read the detailed course description, watch the welcoming video from the author and see the rating of the course.

Grinfer courses are entirely on-demand. That means that you can start whenever you want and learn at your own pace. Watch the lessons and don’t ignore the attached files – those are a great way to enhance the learning experience.

Don’t rush. Learn at your pace. It’s ok if you need more time for particular topics. You may want to watch videos several times to let the information settle down. Don’t skip the attached files and downloadables – they may be of great help. And more importantly, have fun on the go.

You’ll get lifetime access if you purchase separately-sold courses (not included in a membership subscription) through our website http://grinfer.comYou can always get back to a course when you need to refresh things you have learned. 

If you choose a membership subscription, you’ll get unlimited access to all existing and upcoming courses on Grinfer for a period of time set by the chosen subscription plan (1 week, 1 month, 1 year).

Currently, we don’t provide certificates of completion. It’s intentional. Grinfer wants learners to stay focused on gaining and applying hands-on skills, instead of learning for the sake of certificates of achievement.

You can quickly download and keep any attachments offered in a course (readings, spreadsheets or downloadable PDF files). However, video lessons are not downloadable. This is made to protect course creators from intellectual property theft, infringement, or copycat.

Once you acquire a subscription or a single course, you’ll be able to reach the instructor directly via the embedded chat on the Grinfer platform (web version only). 

My courses

To find all the courses you have purchased, go to My Courses page. Click a profile picture at the top right of the page and choose My Courses. 

There are no deadlines for completing a course. You can start learning whenever you are ready and go at your own pace.

Promo codes / Gift courses

No. Your access to a course is not affected by the price you paid for it.

Consultations

Choose the instructor, go to their page, and press the Book Consultation button.

You will be given available time slots. The minimum session lasts 30 minutes. If you want to book the consultation for more than 30 minutes, make sure that the time slots go one after another. Your consultation should be a single session.

To book a consultation, we charge you a 100% prepayment. The moment you complete payment, the instructor gets a request for confirmation. The instructor has 3 days to confirm or decline the request. In case the instructor declines the request, you get a full refund automatically.

Please note: It usually takes up to 7 days (may take longer) for the refund to process into your account, depending on how your bank (or PayPal) processes the refund.

You can pay with your credit card, debit card, or PayPal. All transactions are secured.

Instructors have 3 days to confirm or decline your request for a consultation. If the instructor doesn’t take action within that time, the pending request will be automatically canceled and you will get the full refund of your prepayment. 

Please note: It usually takes up to 7 days (may take longer) for the refund to process into your account, depending on how your bank (or PayPal) processes the refund.

Head to your calendar to see all your pending and confirmed consultations. Also, you will be notified about consultation status changes by email, via Notifications (the bell icon in the upper right corner) and in your Dashboard.

If the instructor declines your request for consultation, you get an automatic full refund of your prepayment.

If you cancel a pending request for a consultation, you get an automatic full refund. 

If you cancel the request already approved by the instructor more than 24 hours before the consultation begins, you get an automatic refund minus a 3% processing fee.

If you cancel the request less than 24 hours before the consultation starts, you will not get a refund. 

If you are late less than 15 minutes for the consultation, the instructor has the right to end the call according to the schedule. This way we ensure that instructors won’t be late for the next consultation because of the learner being late for the call. 

If you join the consultation with a delay of 15 minutes or more, the instructor has the right to refuse to conduct a consultation. In this case, you are not eligible for any refunds for this consultation. If the instructor decides to continue the call, they can end the call as scheduled.

If the instructor did not show up at the consultation or is more than 5 minutes late, you can ask for a full or partial refund. Each case will be considered individually. We advise waiting for your instructor if they are slightly late to avoid disputes and get the most out of your consultation.

You can join the consultation room by clicking the event on your calendar.

If you want to request a refund, please contact us at support@grinfer.com. A request should be sent within 24 hours after the end of the consultation, otherwise, the consultation is considered to be successfully completed and claims will not be accepted. 

You don’t have to contact support for the refunds in case the instructor cancels the consultation. In this case, you get a full refund automatically.

Subscriptions

If you decide to become a member and subscribe to weekly, monthly, or annual membership, you’ll get unlimited access to the entire learning content available under a subscription plan. 

 

This includes access to all existing and upcoming courses on Grinfer for a period of time set by the chosen subscription plan (excluding those courses that you can buy through one-time payment only). Also, learners get full access to all articles and any other published resources on the platform. 

Grinfer always notifies learners about any updates that took place on the platform, so keep an eye on updates about your favourite instructor!  

Just go to the Instructor’s profile and press the “Get started for free” button. Then choose the subscription plan that fits you best. You don’t have to pay right away for your membership subscription plan! First, try our 3-day free trial to make up your mind whether you want to subscribe or not.

Important info: Please note that if you don’t cancel after a free trial period, the cost for a membership subscription plan will be automatically deducted from your account.  

By subscribing to your favorite Instructor you make a payment to get full access to all existing courses and articles created by this instructor. Following the instructor is absolutely free and means that all instructor’s activity is shown in your feed.

If you don’t see a subscription button “Get started for free” on the instructor’s or subscription page, this means that this particular instructor or course was excluded from the membership subscription on the pre-existing agreement terms. However, you can still buy any courses or content created by these instructors with one-time payments. 

You can pay for subscriptions via PayPal. The amount of payment for the selected subscription is charged as a one-time payment for the entire selected period of the subscription.

If you want to cancel your subscription, go to your account and press Unsubscribe. Your existing subscription will terminate at the end of the current billing period meaning that you will still have access to content till the end of your subscription.

 

If you subscribed on the website, to cancel your subscription:

 

– Please log in to your account 

– Go to your account settings and tap SettingsManage SubscriptionsCancel.

 

After successful cancellation, your access to all courses will be terminated at the end of the paid period.



For in-app cancellations (App Store/Google Play Market) 

 

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you might want to cancel via that store. Grinfer will not be able to process any cancellations.

Important note: Even if your subscription is canceled, you still have access to all our free courses and any other learning resources available at no cost.

Absolutely. All plans come with a 3-day free trial to give you enough time and provide an opportunity to look closer at our courses and decide whether you want to subscribe and keep learning.

To avoid any charges, a subscription should be cancelled before the end of the trial period. Otherwise, you’ll be charged in accordance with the selected subscription plan. 

Stories

The story is an article on Grinfer created by your favorite instructor. This article covers those topics or skills that help you to learn, master, or fill in the knowledge gaps.

Subscribe to weekly/monthly/annual membership and you’ll get unlimited access to all articles, instructor’s stories, and any other published resources. 

 

Also, the membership subscription plan provides full access to the entire learning content available on the platform. This includes access to all existing and upcoming courses on Grinfer for a period of time set by a subscription term that you chose (except those courses that are available for sale through one-time payment only).

We provide both free and paid access to any stories published by our authors. But it is the authors’ choice and it’s up to them to decide if they are free or available only by subscription.

Subscribe to weekly/monthly/annual membership and get unlimited access to all resources available on the platform under a membership subscription plan.

Account/Profile

To upload (or edit) a profile picture, click a profile circle at the top right of the page and choose Settings. Go to Account Details, click Upload profile photo, and choose a new picture for your profile.

You can edit your account information, payment method, and password in the Settings. Click your profile picture at the top right of the page and click Settings.

Once you assign a particular email address, unfortunately it can’t be changed. You’ll have full access to all content under the email address you provided during the registration process.
